Licensed therapist in California and Idaho, Julie Williams, LMFT, who provides a supportive and compassionate environment for mental health healing.

And you don’t need to fix yourself to deserve relief, connection, or pleasure. If you’re searching for therapy online because something feels off – emotionally, physically, or relationally – know that your experience is valid. Many people seek mental health support during life transitions, periods of anxiety, or when old coping skills no longer work.

You’re not “too much”. You’re not broken.

Therapy That Honors Your Whole Self

If you’re here, you may be feeling anxious, disconnected, or stuck in patterns that don’t make sense logically, but feel very real in your body. Maybe you’ve tried traditional therapy, self-help tools, or pushing yourself to “get over it,” only to find that something still isn’t shifting.

Online therapy can offer a powerful alternative – especially through treatment approaches like Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).

You’re not alone and nothing is wrong with you.

About My Practice

A Holistic, Mind-Body Approach to Lasting Change

I’m Julie. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), AASECT Certified Sex Therapist (CST), and a Perinatal Mental Health Specialist (PMH-C, in progress), I provide mental health services online through secure video conferencing for individuals and couples across California and Idaho.

I blend evidence-based clinical expertise with somatic, body-based practices. This integrative approach allows us to explore not just the "why" behind your experiences, but how your nervous system holds on to stress, trauma, as well as responds to desire.

How We Work Together

Using the framework of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and mindfulness, I support individuals and couples as they navigate the complexities of intimacy, identity, and life transitions. Together, in our counseling session we focus on:

  • Nervous System Regulation: Build safety and awareness to manage anxiety, panic attacks, and stress responses with greater ease.

  • Psychological Flexibility: Create distance from intrusive thoughts linked to social anxiety, patterns that no longer serve you, self-esteem struggles, or parenting guilt.

  • Perinatal & Life Transitions Support: Navigate identity shifts related to parenthood, postpartum anxiety or depression, birth-related trauma, and major life transitions.

  • Somatic Connection: Reconnect with your body to support healing from pelvic pain, intimacy concerns, eating disorders, or traumatic stress disorder.

  • Values-Aligned Living: Clarify what matters most and take sustainable steps toward a meaningful, authentic and fulfilling life.

  • Compassionate Care: Affirming support for LGBTQIA+ individuals, parents, and those navigating relationship or family conflict.

Whether you’re seeking individual therapy, support for relationship challenges, or guidance through mental health issues, our work is about finding grounding and a sense of coming home to yourself.
